Many Americans don’t recall that Memorial Day was once known as Decoration Day. Its origins date back to Civil War veterans seeking to ‘bury the hatchet’ — specifically women in the Reconstruction south who when decorating the graves of Confederate soldiers decided to do the same for those who fought for the Union.
Naturally, the magnanimity has been effectively scrubbed from our memory by those who seek no reconciliation with their enemies, past and present. In fact, ‘de-reconciliation’ has become so strong among the ‘woke’ censors attempting to erase history that the destruction of statutes, monuments and cemeteries is commonplace.
So is it any surprise on Memorial Day 2026 the memory of fallen veterans has been subordinated to that of George Floyd? At least in America’s newsrooms where stories dedicated to Mr. Floyd — who died six years ago during an arrest for passing counterfeit bills — are omnipresent.
Little mention is made of the troubled life of the ex-con and drug addict whose death while in custody set off an orgy of rioting and looting across the Twin Cities and eventually throughout the nation. In too many circles, that is what’s being remembered today.
By the same people who belittle anti-war veteran Tulsi Gabbard for leaving government to take care of her ailing husband stricken with bone cancer. They must, you see, because Gabbard represents an existential threat to what was really behind the riots and domestic chaos; the foreign interventions and biolabs.
Burying the past is the surest way to avoid being exposed.
Especially when it comes to what really took place six year’s ago when Americans were forced to ‘shelter-in-place’ while well-funded rioters took over the streets. Full accountability will require getting the truth to the widest audience possible.
And we’re set to do it.
Welcome to State of Deception, our new feature film project that’s going to make certain folks don’t forget our shameful and bizarre flirtation with anarchy and martial law — all at the same time.
It not only chronicles what actually happened to our country — but what might have had the lust for power had its way. Indeed, if we just told you about the last few years, you probably wouldn’t believe it. Pandemics, assassinations, wars...what if none of it is an accident?
We’ll never know if one of the most troubling periods in recent history gets ‘canceled.’ So go to our crowdfunding site and help us get the truth out. After all, I don’t have to tell you that’s what all the ‘dark money’ is doing on the other side. It’s our turn to shine a light.
One indispensable element to freedom is learning from history. But you can’t learn from it if it’s not told. That is what we’re doing with State of Deception. And I have to say we are off to a great start. We are busy raising private funds along with our crowdfunding effort with the goal of setting a production schedule this fall.
You can help us make that happen.
Guaranteed, it will be an entertaining tour de force for patriots everywhere. You can check out the storyline and get more details here or just send me a note.
American patriotism is unique because it is a devotion to the ideals those symbols represent. The rule of law, the freedom to choose, domestic tranquility and the transparency upon which self-government depends.
All of those things have come under attack — and so many of our fellow citizens don’t even know it. Politics really is downstream of culture so let’s change both. State of Deception does it in a different way. One that’s suspenseful, entertaining and informative.
Today is not about listening to ‘woke’ liars who excel at false narratives. It’s about recommitting ourselves to individual freedom at home and not spending our precious blood and treasure abroad without a distinct American interest being threatened.
For those who never came home, we thank them and we miss them and we must never forget what their highest devotion was meant to preserve.
