Donald Trump would surely get us into war and now he’s warning of a ‘bloodbath’ should he fail to regain the Presidency.1 Or so the media howled right up until the American public recoiled at their latest deluge of lies.
The only saber rattling, of course, occurred with the Biden administration’s obsession over protecting its sinecure in Ukraine, and after one look at the video of Trump’s metaphorical use of ‘bloodbath’ (describing what happened to Detroit’s auto sector) it became evidently clear the media hacks had lost their ‘meidastouch.’2
Especially so considering their rather ubiquitous use of the term in every other so-called newscast.3 They exploit language the way Humpty Dumpty did, “When I use a word, it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less.”4
The ‘bloodbath’ fiasco may have backfired, but once again it kept far more disturbing news from being digested. Indeed, just days later, Trump trade advisor Peter Narvarro was perp-walked into prison for giving the 45th President what he thought was privileged advice protected by the separation of powers.5
No such fate befell Eric Holder or Lois Lerner when they were held in contempt of the entire Congress over Operation Fast and Furious and the targeting of conservative organizations by the IRS.6 Navarro, on the other hand, was indicted for refusing to divulge information to a fake (GOP leadership had no say in appointing its members) January 6th House Committee that we now know withheld exculpatory evidence from the American public.7
