After all, nearly everyone concedes the so-called experts got just about everything wrong by turning the pandemic into a political agenda based on woke medicine and cartel-like profits for big med.1

Yet American medicine’s troubling march towards authoritarianism started long before COVID. Over half-a-century ago the Great Society jump-started the transformation and Obamacare has put it on autopilot. It’s all beginning to look like a bad Miller Lite commercial: “Costs more, Less coverage.”

I was reminded how dysfunctional our healthcare delivery system has become the other day after receiving another letter from my insurer’s Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM). Seems my drug formulary has shrunk once again and an existing prescription would no longer be covered.

Perhaps you’ve had the same experience? If not, I’ll bet you’ve had another in the form of a ‘surprise’ bill from one of your medical providers letting you know after the fact that your doctor’s visit or procedure wasn’t ‘in-network’?
