Now that Georgia’s RICO (Racketeer-Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) statutes have been thoroughly politicized, it’s easy to forget the debasement of the law didn’t always start with Donald Trump. The establishment media loves to blame abortion for the GOP’s problems. But letting the other side define the issue is the surest road to defeat. Florida’s Heartbeat Protection Act has exceptions for rape, incest, human trafficking and, naturally, maternal health.3

What the Florida law—and those in other states—does not condone is the cavalier treatment of another human life by using late-term abortion as birth control.
Nevertheless, access to abortion since the Dobbs ruling has grown—proving that a) Democrats lied for decades that overturning Roe v Wade would end the practice, and b) they have become so extreme on the issue that they’ve rejected Roe’s modest recognition of life as ‘viability’ in the womb.5
