Jason as usual does not miss a beat. How many supposed Conservative GOP Congress people are only poising as Conservatives? The GOP is still playing by Marguess of Queensbury rules while the other side mimics the Krips and the Skins. "Go along to get along."
Do the GOP voters need to start submitting more absentee ballots and vote earlier? No. Terrible ideas. Reality? In 2022 we just experienced more sophisticated cheating from the Dems than in 2020. The same culprits. Michigan.Penn.Las Vegas. Arizona. Minnesota. Wisconsin is not still on the list because they outlawed drop boxes. Otherwise Johnson would have gotten creamed.
Are Soros and Zuckerberg subsidizing the top tier of some state election officials? Ballot harvesting. Breaks in the chain of custody. Manipulating but not purging voter rolls. Adding votes. Etc.
Thank goodness for Kari Lake. We need dozens more of her ilk. Courageous Americans.
Meanwhile I'm currently concerned about obtaining over due justice for at least four of the greatest(But not limited too) scandals in American history. Watergate? Tea Pot Dome?. Amateur hour.
1 Hillary/Steele dossier/phony FISA warrants fudged by the FBI to spy on Trump and company.
2 The 2020 Steal. Did Joe really receive more black votes than Obama did during his two runs for president? A record 81mil vote turnout for a corrupt man with absolutely no charism sitting in his basement?
3 The lying contemptable J6 committee. Trump offered Bouser and Pelosi 20k National guard troops. They turned him down. Info that has successfully been buried. So how could Trump be responsible for the riot(No insurrection)? He had no control over the capital police. Where was Congress during the hundreds of insurrections that took place in the summer 2020? Thousands of police injured. A billion in property damage. People died.
4 The FBI persuading Twitter and other tech companies to censor the Hunter laptop story. And the censorship of our side in general.
Jason PLEASE take on the newer swamp creatures like CD6 Emmer. I'm disgusted with him and i know you know what he's been doing. Maybe bring it up on Jon Justice's program, that'll help!
It seems like politics today is more about the haves (any politician or politically connected person) versus everyone else (political insider trading, 2 justice systems, targeting politicians who don't conform, etc). That means it doesn't matter much when a D or R is elected as the new people (well intentioned or not) are essentially forced to toe the uniparty line or get thrown out. People are seeing this more exposed everyday and faith in government is fading rapidly. Idk if you outlined any of this in your book as I haven't got a copy yet, but in my mind the best thing any sitting or recently sitting politician could do is truly expose the machine for what it likely is; corruption at a level likely not seen since the fall of Rome. A much shorter book would be to write about the truly good people in Congress.
Thank you Jason. Many great points made! What particularly resonated with me is the need for a long term strategy made up of various projects aimed at attaining goals aligned to the strategy. Such a strategy must include removing the Romney’s and Cheney’s from the party. They stymie everything the base wants accomplished and are key supporters of the woke corporations who undermine the efforts people want. The role of politicians is not to serve constituents blindly but to serve the people.
Jason as always your comments make a ton of sense. Why don't you run for Speaker of the House against Kevin McCarthy, I would much prefer to see you in there rather than Kevin. That even might wake up a few Republicans. As you know you do not have to be a current member of Congress to run for that office.
It is troubling to me, watching Mitch McConnell fund the campaign of the independent Lisa M from Alaska. This shows that the 17th amendment was the biggest mistake the country has made by removing sound governance written by the founding furthers. The Senate is the elite class governing for the good of their own political class of Washington DC insiders. As long as we have the 17th Amendment we have one political party, the tax and spend party.
I don't think the election was a bleak as everyone is saying. Overall, 5 million more votes for republicans than democrats. A lot of close elections went to dems including some where they supported less electable republicans with primary votes and campaign funding. They also benefited from the Roe reversal. Still you would think inflation, crime, the border, Afghanistan debacle and wokeness would have been enough. I think the anti-Trump factor was critical in some states like Arizona where I live. The $40m in "dirty" FTX money probably helped sway a few close races. Finally, there were a lot of weak candidates (the poster person was Herschel Walker) that hurt.
Weak candidates on both sides won. It's about the R or the D behind the name and getting out the vote. The Rs did not. The media campaigned for the Ds. That sums it up.
The first Republican that should be _hit canned is Mitch McConnell, he now say they will vote to pass the omnibus bill…….go away Turtle.

The list of Dem crimes is infinite.

There are good people in Congress but they are routinely stymied by a powerful ‘swamp,’ which I go over in detail in the book. Hope you get it… https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/party-animal-jason-lewis/1141718905
I ordered it today.

The Romneys like Tom Emmer ...
