If there is one thing we’ve learned from state-run media, it’s when they tell you to look one way, look the other.
The shocking ouster of Fox News Channel’s most popular host, Tucker Carlson, is merely the latest example. We’re supposed to believe that Carlson was fired over the whole Dominion lawsuit settlement thing.
I’m not buying it.
I have no inside info, but 25 years in broadcasting tells me that sounds more like fodder for a gloating Democrat/Media complex that’s been trying to silence the FNC host for years.
Remarkably, the day before he was unceremoniously let go, cable TV’s favorite adolescent, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (known simply as Sandy to Tucker Carlson Tonight viewers) went on MSNBC to flex her authoritarian impulses and called for the federal censorship of Carlson.1
He had proudly earned the enmity of ‘woke’ America by refusing to compromise on things like the ‘great replacement theory’ happening along what used to be a national border.2 Carlson’s unrelenting criticism of transgenderism’s fascist tactics of intimidation drew the predictable opprobrium from the cultural elite who see big profits in mutilating minors.3
The FNC host even agreed with Daniel Patrick Moynihan’s description of late-term abortion as “infanticide.”4
