Jason, Thank you for putting this clip of Rush on your page, was awesome to hear "The Great One" again.
When they were searching for a new person to take over for Rush I sent numerous E-mails suggesting that you could be the Rush replacement. Rush had a great Political mind and I believe you share that same trait. Clay & Buck, the new hosts are way too young and their Political views are that of an infant compared to the veteran Conservative thought put forth from you and Rush.
Perhaps they offered you the job but you were not in a place in your life for a commitment like that, I wonder? The Conservative movement needs veteran commentators that have been around for a long while, not former Sports radio hosts.
I agree, Doug! Clay and Buck just don't do Rush's time slot, or show, justice. Jason would have been far better. My next choice would have been Mark Steyn.
Jason was of course my first choice to a Rush sub, whether permanently or just a few days here and there. Having listened to him at KSTP, then WBT, then KLTK, it was clear that few if any could tear into supply side economics with the authority that Jason brought to the mic. Rush was good on the big picture stuff, but Jason was great on getting into the weeds and making it compelling radio.
I think my second choice would have been Mark Belling out of Milwawkee, he was really good subbing and also on his own show during the Scott Walker days 2010.....2012....
Steyn.....I don't know... He definitely talked without a net..... he would sometimes ramble around a point and you could just tell he was hoping a punch line would occur to him......
I liked him better in print, for example in the National Post he wrote a quip about TuPac shooting himself in the groin and becoming OnePac.
So good to hear Rush again, wish he was still with us. He talked me off the cliff so many times after listening to his shows. Having you sit in for him was further icing on the cake, Jason. How to ever forgive McCain for what he did to the people of America, and what never-Trumpers are doing to this day. Crushed when you weren't re-elected, and further crushed when Trump also "lost." Never-Trumpers continue to stifle the will of American people, add onto that voter fraud unabated and leftists throwing the kitchen sink at Trump by manipulating the law and the Constitution. Trying to have positive thoughts....
Jason, I always enjoyed you on rush, and you were great on clay and buck last Christmas. Your appearance there is why I subscribe to your newsletter. I really enjoy it. I just visited your state last week for work. What a mixed bag. Minneapolis could be so great, but one still sees the scars from St. Fentanyl. So sad. But when you get outside the twin cities, it's a different world. Actually a great world full of nice people. I spent time up in thief river falls for work. I absolutely loved the people and the attitude up there. If we could have sliced off the rest of Minnesota from the twin cities, I think I'd be addressing Senator Lewis. Keep up the fight.

All the Best to you and yours!

Thanks Doug, very nice. I agree that conservative talk is in rough shape now, but so is the radio industry and I think that’s a lot of it.
My best to you & yours. Jason

Yep, very frustrating Ezzie. .
The GOP is the wolf in sheep's clothing. The Dems are wolves who are in deep with the Shepard [news media].............
To carry that forward....we are the sheep.
